OVERVIEW

Penny’s stories have found a home in a ream of travel magazines, local and national newspapers and digital spaces both in Australia and throughout the world. Her old website was last updated in 2010, using programs that no longer existed, so she contacted me to build her a brand new one, from scratch.

Penny’s site was build from scratch using Squarespace. As Penny has no website management experience it needed to be using a program that could be updated very easily by herself. I was given a strong brief about how this site needed to look, and none of the pre-made Squarespace templates made this possible. Therefore I needed to play around with the backend coding to make it all work perfectly, and look beautiful. The site has helped Penny get a lot more writing bookings.
